We are blessed to have Deacon Bill Ditewig as our keynote presenter. Deacon Ditewig is a professor of theology and religious studies at St Leo University in Tampa. As the former executive director of the Secretariat for the Diaconate at the USCCB and a participant in the development of the National Directory for the Diaconate, Bill brings a tremendous depth of understanding of the diaconate.
He will be addressing "The Emerging Diaconate, Servant Leaders in a Servant Church" which is also the title of his latest book. At the New England gathering, Deacon Ditewig will lead us in a day of interactive learning and dialog on the Emerging Diaconate, Servant Leader in a Servant Church.
